Good morning, everyone! It’s a beautiful May morning, and the temperature is finally beginning to warm up. How have you fared against the several layers of pollen that April built up? If May ends up being the same way, our doors are always open, you know! Enough about the weather, though– there are cupcakes to showcase!
As what’s becoming a trend, I like to split the lineup into two main groups: “chocolatey” and “fruity.” For this month, “chocolatey” includes Derby Pie and Mississippi Mud, though both are accompanied with their own nutty accoutrements. Alternatively, “fruity” includes Banana Pudding, Blackberry and Strawberry Crunch, which are all relatively straight-shooters compared to their chocolate counterparts. Of course, then there’s Chocolate Almond Raspberry, which could arguably be counted as both, and there are others that are neither, like French Toast and Sugar Rush! This month, the chocolately-fruity matrix has cupcakes in every one of its quadrants! (And yes, “chocolatey-fruity matrix” is now a scientific term you can use to describe our cupcake selections.)

Don’t wait forever, though, because when June starts, we’re moving on to a new set of monthly cupcakes! And who knows when these flavors will come back…
