Good morning everyone! We hope you had a great holiday season. We definitely needed our rest, and now we’re back up and running with excited energy again.
Did you know that one of our most popular events is coming up soon? That’s right– the 4th Annual Gala-Q and Silent Auction is happening on March 18th! It’s a fun night of food, fellowship, and overflowing generosity, and we’d love to see you there. It could be one of our biggest events yet– last year marked the beginning of the $100,000 Challenge, so who knows what this one might bring.
We also use it as a great opportunity to uplift other local businesses in our community, too. Our silent auction is an exciting part of the gala where attendees can bid on all sorts of donated items, from souvenirs to coupons and vouchers to, most commonly, products from other small businesses valued at up to hundreds of dollars. It’s exciting to see all the kinds of things people bring in, and even more exciting when they become the grounds of a fierce bidding war.
If you’re interested in donating your own items, or if you are a part of a local business that might be interested in donating, we’d be more than happy to host your items! In the past, we’ve had people or companies that couldn’t attend, but represented themselves by having some of their items in our auction. Either way, it’s a great way to engage with the community, all for a good cause.
We have an auction donation form at the bakery, so all you need to do is walk in and ask for it! Alternatively, you can click here to download the form, print it out, attach it to your item, and send it our way.
March 18th is fast approaching, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now. We would love to see you there, but don’t worry if you can’t! We appreciate all forms of support, and donating to the silent auction is only one way you can help us make a big impact on the community.
