This summer in 2022, the bakery is going national… In a certain way, at least.
Doug Freeland is our resident handyman here at the bakery, who does all sorts of small jobs like fixing leaky pipes, wiring light switches, and installing wooden fixtures– but he isn’t just a handyman. This summer, he will be a part of a biking tour from coast to coast of the continental United States, starting on May 8th in California and ending in Massachusetts on June 23rd! In doing so, he will be raising awareness and funding for not only us, but another special needs-oriented nonprofit in our area named the Exceptional Foundation of Atlanta. We’re honored to be one of the main beneficiaries of his adventure, and wish him the best of luck when it begins in about a month and a half.
